I was getting a facial today (courtesy of my mother-in-law! Thanks!) and I was thinking about eye cream. I have been wearing eye cream for few years now… maybe five? I can’t really remember. But finding a good one is not easy.
I have tried numerous drug store brands, but I hated all of them. And since I briefly worked for Estee Lauder, I tend to gravitate toward their products. I do like Advanced Night Repair, but my favorite was Future Perfect. So of course they discontinued it.
Now I am using some type of Clarins thing that comes in a squeezy tube. I am not impressed. But I really don’t know what to do, since my favorite is discontinued and ANR is too expensive to keep getting when I don’t love it. I do ADORE this moisturizer I have been using by Trish McEvoy, so maybe I should see what their options are? But the moisturizer is pretty pricey. And really, I am 30. I don’t need major anti-wrinkle cream, people!
So what do you guys like? Do you have a favorite, or do you think eye cream is for our moms?
I still can’t seem to pull it together to apply eye cream every day (I remember, like, once every couple of months. Maybe tonight?!), but my skincare brand is Dr. Hauschka. It has done amazing things for my skin! There was an adjustment period, though. For the first couple of weeks, I hated the entire line, but then I ended up loving it. It’s especially great for hypersensitive skin, but they have products for all skin types.
